Tomar Lampert & Associates was established in the mid 1970s by Stuart Lampert and the late Stephen Tomar. The business started on the east coast with the primary office located in Philadelphia. We grew quickly and took on many commercial projects across the country including restauranteur, Victor Drais Beverly Hills’ hot spot, "Drais", as well as residential assignments in New York, Hawaii, London, Aspen, Paris, Indonesia and all points in between.  The opening of our Los Angeles outpost was pivotal to the growth of the business and eventually led to us to relocate our Philadelphia office to Los Angeles.

We drew notice from the Hollywood elite, and soon we were designing interiors for the big names in the entertainment business. We attracted a faithful following of celebrities and others who care deeply about their interior comforts. Our past clients have included Barbra Streisand, Johnny Carson, Miles Davis, Cicley Tyson, Mary Hart, Jackie Cooper, Van Halen, Ed Mc Mahon, Suzanne Pleshette, Tom Postom and Model Actress Vendela. We planned and designed the interiors of many commercial projects, including the headquarters for World International Network, Inc.; Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's offices in Culver City and New York; and numerous wholesale and retail clothing stores and showrooms on both coasts as well as Las Vegas and Atlantic City.

Over 45 years later we continue our design business here in Los Angeles. No project too big or small.
